$300–$500 per day | 50% Commission W2 + 100% Tips

This is a groomer-owned mobile grooming business serving St. Charles County, Missouri. This position is a great fit for experienced salon groomers who are curious about mobile grooming and want a calmer, one-on-one workday without the chaos of a busy shop.

You don’t need prior mobile experience — just solid grooming skills, professionalism, and an interest in learning a different (often easier on the body) way to groom. Scheduling is built around realistic grooming timelines, with support from an owner who is a professional groomer and understands the transition.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality grooming services (bathing, clipping, styling)
  • Ensure pet comfort and safety at all times
  • Communicate clearly with pet parents
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming van
  • Drive safely between appointments
  • Manage time efficiently without being rushed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years professional dog grooming experience
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable, organized, and professional

Introductory Period (First 90 Days)

The first 90 days focus on setting you up for success in mobile grooming.

During this time, you’ll receive:

  • Full commission W2 + 100% of tips
  • Schedules built with realistic grooming timelines
  • Direct support from the owner, who is a professional groomer
  • A clean, fully equipped mobile grooming van, supplies provided, and clear daily structure
